Trans Women are not now, nor have they ever been, a problem in women’s basketball

Dear WNBA,

I invite you to do better, much better. I invite you to condone the ONE player who is bringing this shameful attention and to stop allowing your league and players to be manipulated for political theatrics at the expense of your players and your fans.

So you let one attention-thirsty, performative player (a player who is barely decent) come out and make a statement straight out of the MAGA playbook, that is actually currently not even pertinent to your league,on her MAGA-leaning podcast…a statement that doesn’t reflect any current issue faced by the women in your league. Now you’re entertaining MEN who are also MAGA and performative, attention whores make a mockery of your sport and your league, not to mention their horrendous mockery of actual trans women. All you need to say to them is how sorry of excuses for men they are and as humans and reiterate how when it comes to protecting women, men like them are the real issue, not actual trans women.

And if you’re following this issue and think it’s funny, or if you think a man putting on a wig and mocking trans women is a joke, then I invite you to swiftly go to hell.

America is more worried about protecting pedophiles and white supremacists than it has ever been concerned with actually protecting women… Don’t get it twisted…

There are more active Ku Klux Klan chapters than trans athletes in America.

They have found more Black people hanging from trees in Mississippi than trans athletes in America.

More MAGA domestic terrorists stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6 than trans athletes in America.

There are more NFL players and UFC fighters who have been found guilty of sexual assault and/or domestic violence than trans athletes in America.

There were more current politicians on Epstein Island than trans athletes in America.

There are more states where child marriage is legal than trans athletes in America.

There have already been more school shootings in 2026 than trans athletes in America.
